
Benoit Godbout was born in 1977. During his studies, he participated in the creation of the review of tapes comic books aboard, which was born the character of Gaël Dragonspit. He holds a BA in graphic design at UQAM, he worked for various animation studios and video games. He has published several comic book, especially in the magazine Safarir . Benoit Godbout has also contributed to the design and development of the animated series Amos Daragon and was the artistic director and Binu Router. Alongside these projects, he designed the animated series Fred's Head with Malorie Nault-Cousineau, in addition to assuming the achievement with Sylvain Lavoie. Benoit Godbout won the succession awarded by the Alliance for Children and Television in 2004. His series, Fred's Head, was part of the official selection of the International Festival of Animated Film in Annecy, in addition to winning a Gemini Award for best animated series in 2008.
