Soulman
As defined by the dictionary, a "short cut" is "a narrow path, the most direct route, a narrow passage connecting two streets." On this narrow path that the two characters in the book, one Palestinian and one Israeli, chose to anchor: the path of the few, who wants to sail the Ta'ayush. The Ta'ayush? In Cultural Crossings , Maximilian Le Roy and Soulman , we offer the testimony of two activists. One lost an eye open for those of his fellow citizens, the other is a parent mourning the tragic death of his wife's brothers. Putting into perspective the two individual paths, the authors lay the foundation for what would be an alternative project in this endless conflict. Soulman was born in Spain in 1974. Recement came into the world of comics, published by The Soulman Gang a Western titled Challengers last chance, Since then a butterfly (The Cyclist, 2007), an album dealing with depression in children. Key to everything, Soulman is now a leading designer in Quebec video games.
