Marriage Invitation Format In English

vintage crochet ornament

By snooping on Etsy and watching "stones" whose back is painted in gold, I had an idea ... I decided to turn my dew drops in small gems to look like vintage ...

So my little treasure box - full of hyper-colored dew drops!

I could take mixatif ink with alcohol - but often, the dew drops are stained with ink in which the solvent is alcohol. Using mixatif, I lost touch of color ...

What to do?? Nothing too complex - embossed the backs of dew drops with a metal powder ...

First, with pliers, the ink is dew drop ...

then dipped back inked the dew drop in the embossing powder ...

And finally, on a surface that is resistant to heat, it embosses the back of the dew drop. Warning: You need a soft iron which does not break too - the Ranger is perfect. You must use a embossing powder ultra-fine. Basically, it is necessary Heat the weaker and less time as possible to avoid softening the dew drop (or even melt it) - then one forgets the fetters to be stripped!

Here, then, left the dew drops vintage and right, the original dew drops (the same colors are used in both cases) ... One would really old gems with an effect of gilding ...

And closer ...

I love the effect ... I think I'm falling in love with the dew drops!
